That was short-lived.

It was beautiful while it lasted.

This actually reminded me that I've had an idea for a gameshow for a while. My wife thinks it's ridiculously geeky though. Here is what I emailed to the Google business suggestions contact:

Do you know how game shows like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire have "phone a friend?" And how often the phoned friend is obviously using the available time to Google the answer? I thought why not have Google start a game show where contestants sit at a computer and Google? Call it Google-Against-the-Clock or something. Maybe even pit Google against other search engines as a contest. I know. Probably too geeky, but, hey, I'd watch it.

If you can figure out how to work three of the five following things into this, balmakboor--

1. Bikini-clad women
2. Slime
3. People undermining each other
4. Eating bugs
5. Former A-list celebrity host

--you've struck gold.

I bet I could get all five in there somehow.

1. Bikini-clad women

I'm being too picky. Low-cut eveningwear will work, too.

Should be an easy one, but I couldn't resist because I love the possibilities it suggests:

Who was Francis Coppola's first choice to direct Apocalypse Now? The guy first planned to shoot it in the rice fields of central California and later switched plans in favor of the Philippines on a $2 million budget in 16mm using real soldiers.

During the filming of what movie did a character die on camera in a motorcycle accident? The director, never one to waste a good shot, decided it would make a great ending.

George Lucas, but apparently Coppola wanted John Milius to direct it, too.
