Which do I watch first?
1. Cthulhu (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0478126/)
2. My Name is Bruce (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0489235/)
3. 3:10 to Yuma (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0381849/) (2007)
2 and 3 are Blu-Ray if that makes any difference.

I don't understand this question. If you're going to watch them all anyway, what difference does it really make?

That's like saying it doesn't matter what order songs go in on an album. Gotta work the flow.
I don't know much about Cthulhu, but I'd use 3:10 to Yuma as a buffer between the horrors. I'd probably hit Bruce last, it's probably the most palpable of the three as a finale.
So I'll go with Cthulhu, FTW.

I'd prefer this Cthulu to be on instant watch. But it's not, so I will wait.

I think you go in order of potential. 3:10 to Yuma goes first, because most of what I've heard about it is bad. Get it out of the way. My Name is Bruce goes second because it could potentially be very funny, but I've heard varying opinions even from big Bruce Campbell fans. Save Cthulu for last because I've heard nothing but positive buzz about it. Even though it seems flawed, everyone I know who's seen it has definitely liked it.

It's actually nothing like that. An album is a singular work; three different movies are three different works.

Ok, album might not have been the best word for what I was going for. Perhaps mixtape works better.

No, but 2 out of 3 are bad. That makes a difference.

Again, not really, since a mixtape is meant to be cohesive as a whole. I think the only comparison that works is three albums by three different artists, in which case the order wouldn't really matter outside of your own personal mood.

I think a better analogy would be, "Which song should I download from iTunes first?"
And "What difference does it make?" would be the appropriate response to that question, too.

Y'all suck at flow.
Yah, I gotta go with TM on this one.

Well, ultimately this thread didn't matter. My choice to start with 3:10 to Yuma was usurped by my roommates, who had already seen it in the theater. So, we put in My Name is Bruce first. Then I conked out on the couch. :P

Ok, I've got three films at home - which one first?
Oldboy
Femme Fatale
Wet Hot American Summer

Femme Fatale first because it's got a great opening that will suck you in immediately to your evening of viewing.
Oldboy second, because it steps up the violence and intensity and will likely carry you through a long evening on sheer moxie, assuming you're watching them back-to-back.
Wet Hot American Summer never, because it's dreadful.

Yeah, nothing good about Wet Hot American Summer, so either get it out of the way, or watch it years down the line, or in a drunken stupor.
Femme Fatale and Oldboy are fantastic. Enjoy on their own.

Yeah, they're actually surprisingly similar when I then about it, though I'd never considered the two together before. Spacing out the viewings might be a good recommendation.

Femme Fatale first, Wet Hot second, Oldboy third. Finish off your evening with that piece of wonderful fucked-up-ness.

This could be a fun thread if we can think of funny reasons for our choices. What about these three?

I hated WHAS on first viewing, but a second viewing brought consistent chuckles. Give it a go.

What should I watch first, I Stand Alone or Irreversible? I have them both out from Netflix and am too jittery to make the choice alone.

I would watch them in chronological order if only to get the self-reference at the beginning of Irreversible.

Yeah, although I'd consider skipping I Stand Alone.
Noe has a new movie coming out this year. Looking forward to it based on some blurbs I heard about it.
