Damn. I'll be renting Milk, Transporter 3, Let the Right One In, Synecdoche NY, Cadillac Records, and maybe Role Models to see if it plays better with a repeat viewing.

Yeah, I noticed this was a damn good week for quality movies. I doubt there will be a better DVD week this year. First I will rent Let the Right One In and re-watch Rachel Getting Married. After I get through those I will re-watch Synecdoche, NY and rent Happy-Go-Lucky, Cadillac Records, and Role Models for shits and giggles. Also, at some point in my life I will probably buy Pinocchio, but not right now.

Did you see Transporter 3 yet?

I know you were a huge fan of the first two. I've heard that the third installment is actually kind of bland, after the no-holds-barred insanity of the second.

I'd love to read your thoughts when you see it (if you haven't already).

Wow. This is quite the week. I'll be renting Synecdoche, New York and A Secret. I don't buy DVDs anymore, but if I was still in that era of my life, this would be one heck of an expensive week.

Same here. At least not as much. I can't justify all the space it takes up.

I'm renting a ton of stuff: Let the Right One In, Happy-go-Lucky, Rachel Getting Married, Synecdoche New York, Role Models .. and maybe Cadillac Records and the Striped Pajamas movie down the road.

I've cut way back on my DVD buying habits and rarely buy anything for anywhere near $20 these days. However, I'll probably eventually pick up the following:
Rachel Getting Married
Pinocchio
Milk
Synecdoche, New York
