I found out about this via a FaceBook note. I was skeptical, but according to Examiner.com (http://www.examiner.com/x-1465-Music-Examiner~y2009m2d18-James-Ihas-Tinted-Windows) this news is legit.
A new supergroup has formed featuring James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins) on guitar, Bun E. Carlos (Cheap Trick) on drums, Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne) on bass, and...Taylor Hanson (Hanson) on vocals.
The band is called "Tainted Windows", and they've apparently already recorded their debut album, to be released this spring.
