The new Wallace and Gromit short from Nick Park is online now.

Watch it here. (http://www.postdreamer.com/video/411_wallace_-_gromit_-_a_matter_of_loaf_and_death)

It's nothing short of amazing. It might actually be better than The Wrong Trousers.

No one else is watching this? Spinal? Russ? Raiders?

Yeah, just let it buffer...it's taking forever for me, but I'm up to 12%.

Oh yeah, I see the buffering now - really slow. How about that Local Storage setting for Adobe Flash Player. Does that help too?

P.S. dough to door :)

From what I could tell, it looked pretty sweet. Couldn't take more than a few minutes, though. Even buffered, the animation still wasn't fluid. I'll wait for the DVD. Thanks for the link, tho.

Hmm, it was pretty smooth on my computer. It only took about 10 minutes to completely buffer.

I wasn't a big fan of Curse of the Were-Rabbit, but this was fun stuff. Thanks for the link.

Brutal. Doesn't surpass the Shave one, but it's tip-top.

This rocked! Thanks so much for putting up a link. All the little verbal and visual gags and asides were there, as well as topical humor for our post 9/11 society.

They've really become masterful at crafting stories/characters that operate on multiple levels--for youth and adult audiences. A cut to loaves rising just as Piella and Wallace brush hands for the first time (6:34)--that's final shot of North by Northwest good.

Awesome, awesome, AWESOME. As usual, a brilliant mix of sly comedy, clever sight gags, and inspiring moments of emotion (Gromit grimacing before reassuring his master). I can't wait to watch this on DVD and savor the animation even more.

God damn it, I love Wallace and Gromit.

the villain in this is one of the most evil i can remember in an animated short.

The video has been deleted from the original link. Which sucks, because I had the entire thing buffered on my laptop yesterday, and then forgot to watch it. Had to take my computer with me to work today, so there went that.

Thanks for the alternate link Qrazy.

Is there a high-res version of this somewhere?

No, it's not even on DVD yet. And if there were a high-res you'd have to pay for it.

Good times. I loved the nod to the old Batman series with the bomb throwing gag.

Very enjoyable and a continuation of one of my favorites series. My favorite visual gag was the scythe/umbrella bit. And the ending as the truck stops and we gaze at Fluffles... wow. Park conveys so much so simply.

I can't believe Peter Sallis is still alive.
Why? He's only 89 or so, right?

Always good to have new Wallace and Gromit, but I thought this was merely adequate. Does not come close to the duo's best.

This was good but not as classic as his first three short films.

Has anyone seen his recent TV series Shaun the Sheep?
