And apparently, now for five dollars you can stream films from the Criterion collection as many times as you want in a week, and it counts toward your Criterion purchase.

if you join 'theauteurs' part of the site, a few films are available to stream for free.

You may be in the wrong section, I was at first. Only the ones I posted are available.

Yeah but for me the only ones I seem to be able to see are...

Agua
Bashing
Le Vent de la Nuit
Midnight
The Perfume of the Lady in Black
Riviera
Someone Else's Happiness
The Take

Which sucks, because I really want to see Spirit of the Beehive.

We must be in different locations, someone on RT told me that depending on your location different films show up.

Five dollars seems like a good price, but I still can't stand watching movies on my computer.

Yeah, I'm not really following any sort of a trend lately. I'll return to some of the one's I missed later I suppose.

I pipe it to my tv. Even at 32" the video feeds look fantastic.

When are they releasing their blu-ray editions? I thought some were coming in November.

What am I missing here? I don't see any free streaming movies, just movies that cost $5.

Sign up for "The Auteurs", then log in.

Click on the LIBRARY heading.

Check the box that says "Show films available to watch".

There should be a list of films that say "FREE WATCH FILM" beside their pictures.

Ditto. Must be a Canadian thing.

Bummer, as I, too, signed up specifically with the desire to watch Spirit of the Beehive.

Someone Else's Happiness seems worth viewing. I'm home right now so I'll watch the American ones but when I go back to school I think I'll give that one a look.

Ratcatcher - B-

Au Revoir Les Enfants (Malle) - 8

dig it for sure

EDIT:

If Catherine Breillat was teasing for a strong reaction with 'Fat Girl' she can have it. The film is shit.

I get the same list as meg except with After-Life and Maborosi instead of The Take. Not that I'd be able to watch any of them with my internet speed.

Yeah I tried to watch the Garrel film on my laptop but the picture was all stuttery and stuff. Fuck I need a new comp.
