So, um, I'd never even heard of this animated film until it suddenly made the front page of IMDb today.

The voice cast is great. Emma Watson, Dustin Hoffman, Christopher Lloyd, Sigourney Weaver, Kevin Kline, and many others.

And it looks gorgeous...

Synopsis from IMDb:

"Desperaux Tilling is a mouse in love with light and beauty and a princess, which makes him an odd mouse and gets him banished to the rat-invested darkness of the castle dungeon. Betrayal and intrigue follow him on his quest to escape to the glittering castle above."

They showed the trailer in front of Wall-E. It didn't look very good. I think those are concept art rather than shots from the film btw.

Yah, saw the trailer in theaters and didn't really like it either.

Looks 'meh', but it does have some great animation with expressive lighting based on what I have seen.

A few months ago, I saw both a trailer and a short preview in front of something. I found the preview to be shrill and astoundingly self-important. The trailer less so, but still somewhat.

The animation, though, does look quite good. Not as good as the concept art posted above (the third still might be a frame, but the other three I'm 99.9% confident are concept art), but good.
