I just realized that I've seen very little of Lee's work besides the Mummy remake he did in 1958 and his work in the Star Wars prequels and LOTR's. So I'm looking for recommendations myself, especially since I spent part of this year catching up on the work of Vincent Price. Peter Cushing is another horror veteran who's work I want to see as well, and I know he did a good number of films with Lee.

A lot of people liked those Lord of the Rings movies. I'm not a big fan, though.

Recommend me some of his movies, if you please....Most of the Hammer movies he was in are probably worth seeking out.

Yeah, I was afraid that might happen after I posted it....
Sorry.

HOOO-EEE!! I can help ya here, Scar :D
Definitely check out Horror of Dracula - it's the very first Dracula film from the Hammer horror series, and arguably the best.
Then check out pretty much any of the sequels except for Dracula 1972 A.D. which is pretty terrible.
Also The Curse of Frankenstein is great - Christopher Lee plays the monster and does a great job...and the make-up is partcularly gruesome.
The Virgin of Nuremberg is a great little piece of gothic horror.
And of course, there'd The Man With the Golden Gun, where Lee has 3 nipples.
Most of the Hammer movies he was in are probably worth seeking out.
So far, I've got the following listed to check out:
Horror of Dracula
I, Monster
Dracula Has Risen from the Grave
Horror Express
Sycophant

For some reason, I expected to open this up and see a bunch of pictures of Christopher Lee looking thoroughly badass. If anyone wants to start a "Christopher Lee looking thoroughly badass" pictorial thread, you have my blessing.

I feel like I've seen more Chirstopher Lee films than I can recall.

I think of Lee as being in the same league as Kinski, popping up in and momentarily enlivening horrendous movies (or even good movies, like Gremlins 2) with his sheer presence.
I've always liked his performances as Scaramanga in Man with the Golden Gun and as Rochefort in the Musketeer movies.

Being a Roger Moore fan, I fully endorse the recs of The Man With The Golden Gun.
I recommend The Devil Rides Out. It's one of the few Hammer Horror films in which Lee plays a good guy. So that's a nice change. It's a enjoyable movie with some fine performances but the special effects feel a bit dated.

I forgot he was in The Man With The Golden Gun (he's awesome as one of the few villians to ever actually come close to offing Bond), and his cool bit role in Gremlins 2.

And this thread needs an obligatory glamour shot:

A lot of the movies I've seen that he's in he has very little screen time - even in something like Horror Hotel he is hardly seen. In movies where he plays the baddie, other lesser baddies get more screen time than him.
I'd recommend:
The Devil Rides Out
Horror of Dracula
The Devil Rides Out has a Dr Who feel (with better acting and effects) so if you're a fan definitely check it out.

Oh forgot about this one. It's a rather minor role but he has some of the best scenes with Karloff in the lead:
Corridors of Blood
It's a Criterion to boot.

Not mentioned yet...
The Hound of the Baskervilles
Dracula: Prince of Darkness
The Gorgon
The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll
My two favorite ones are The Wicker Man and Horror Express. The last one is definitively underrated, also featuring Peter Cushing and Telly Savallas in a plot reminiscent of The Thing.

Oh shit, how could I forget about The Horror Express which also features Peter Cushing? Thanks for reminding me Grouchy. That film rocks. The finale is crazy, gory, and pretty awesome, with the end credits sporting some weird Pink Floyd-ish music.
