Anyone watching this show?
I've caught the first two seasons on (Belgian) TV, and am now going through season 3 (through other sources).
The writing is really bad so far, yet it results in an immensely entertaining season.
From what I hear season 4 isn't much better.

How's season 5 so far?

Is it all kinds of wrong I fancy Christian?

As long as it's not Matt.

I love this show. Nothing beats it for sheer entertainment value alone. It's the closest I'll get to watching a soap opera.

The last part is exactly what I said to my girlfriend.
The plot ideas are so half-baked. Sometimes it seems as if the writers didn't do any research, while other times it seems like they just didn't think it through.
The FBI thing + The sperm facial creme come to mind.
And the best part is that the two leads are actually giving good performances.

Sometimes I like to explain the ridiculous storylines by thinking the gods are toying with the two lead characters.

Actually, Ryan Murphy said that he intended for the show to be a parody of soap opera, like an EXTREME version of General Hospitals.

It gets even more out there in Season 4. Then you'll get into the affairs, the incest, the partner swapping, and one hilarious future episode where Sean's daughter is a bitchy teenager with a cellphone surgically implanted in her head.

This is the only show I know that keeps its momentum by continually jumping the shark.

Ha, really?
Then I love how he plays it completely straight.

Haha. :)

Good thing you haven't heard of it before. It made quite the waves when Julian McMahon went on The View and recreated the scene in front of the audience.

One of the benefits of living in Belgium, I suppose.

It was probably even weirder than
The carver turning out to be dickless
or
Matt vs. The Nazi's.

I can always count on Nip/Tuck to surprise me.

The show's finales usually are rather nuts, can't wait.

Still three episodes behind.

This show needs more fans. I don't think a lot of people truly "get it".

I pity the people who stopped watching because "it got too silly".

Fun finale, not as good as the previous 4, but crazy enough.
Damn the writer's strike.

The last two episodes were absolutely crazy. It's the only show I keep up with by watching it when it actually airs.

Also, kudos for actually doing something interesting with the amnesia angle.

I wish Julia had died, though.
I was hoping for this season to leave Matt and Julia behind, but no such luck!

Anyone still watching?
Both parts of season 6 have been kind of dull. Maybe I'm getting over this show.

Hope the finale is any good.

I thought it was supposed to be the second half of season 6, but seems they're referring to it as season 7 now.

This second half (or season 7) was supposed to air in 2011, but FX is showing it now already as ratings keep dropping.

I don't think anyone cares anymore. I don't. I just figured there's 4 episodes left, what the hell.
