Hopefully Child's Play and Pumpkinhead are finally in widescreen. :frustrated:

1.85:1 for Pumpkinhead and Child's Play, according to Amazon.

w00t, as they say.

The Fall.
That's about it. I don't even see any titles with "WTF?" possibilities.

Rodan? War of the Gargantuas? I'm all over that shit!

The Fall, can't wait to see it again.

Baby Mama... Worth watching if you're a Tina Fey fan?

Yes, Baby Mama is worth seeing.

As for me, I'll rent The Fall immediately, and I'm going to buy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, because after multiple viewings the show is still hilarious.

Buying the third season of It's Always Sunny, not just for me but also just so that I know one of my friends has it handy. Also looking forward to renting The Fall and to a lesser extent Baby Mama and Forbidden Kingdom.

Not much else this week...

Renting The Fall. Possibly Forbidden Kingdom or Baby Mama.

Also might one day rent Exiled on Blu-Ray.

BUY:
Always Sunny S3

RENT:
The Fall

Really Damn Cool:
The Big Lebowski bowling ball set.

WTF:
The Fall's humongous "[R]" stamp in the corner. I hope to God that's not actually on the cover. Other than that, there isn't anything WTF worthy.

The Forbidden Kingdom is still the worst film I've seen all year. I can't believe a movie starring Jackie Chan and Jet Li could be so boring.

The Fall and Baby Mama aren't that far behind.

Are you still claiming to have seen Baby Mama because you caught a few moments while you were at work?

I've seen about 75% of the movie.

Unless there is a huge zombie apocalypse where Tina Fey has to save the world using only her right hand in that remaining 25%, I don't think my opinion has changed.

There are plenty of worse films than Baby Mama that I've partially seen this year (most recently, the absolute abomination known as College comes to mind).

Yeah, you haven't actually seen those films. You can't come in at various times and catch moments out of order and claim to have seen a film. I'm not saying you'll like Baby Mama, or College, or any other film whose bits and pieces you didn't care for, but you can't say you've seen the movie when you watch it like that.

Pumpkinhead! I'm also looking forward to weighing in on The Fall. And everyone, please steer clear of The Forbidden Kingdom, it's still one of the worst movies I've seen this year.

I have no problem being the only one who really liked The Forbidden Kingdom.

That Rodan set will be mine.

And I think I will get The Fall on Blu-Ray eventually...it seems like the type of movie that would greatly benefit from it.

Smallville, The Fall...maybe Lebowski...

I've had War of the Gargantuas queued up at Netflix for about a week and a half. I've heard from numerous sources that it is one of the best if not the best giant monster flick.

I haven't seen it in ages, but I know that it sure is up there in the "cheeseball fun Toho giant monster mayhem in Cinescope!" department.

The Fall.

I don't even see any titles with "WTF?" possibilities.

In my mind, every DVD is a "WTF?" contender. I mean, for one thing, what does "DVD" even mean? It's so stupid.

Oh, and me want to see Pumpkinhead. It look cool and junk.

Pumpkinhead is really great. Specially when you're a hardcore Lance Henriksen fan like me.

It's also, I think among Stan Winston's very best effects work. The creature is phenomenal.

Pumpkinhead is silly, but it nails a grungy grindhouse vibe that renders the movie highly compelling on its own terms.

Pumpkinhead is awful. Creature is pretty good, I guess, but Winston is a terrible director. The film's muted tones and bland color scheme only make the silly plot and one-note characters all the more unbearable.

Well, it is actually pretty awful, but that doesn't mean it's not awesome.

That's why the words are so similar. Because of this movie.
