It sounds amazing.

Learning to play this thing is like learning to play the guitar, piano, and drums - all at the same time. They're not joking when they say the pedal steel is the hardest instrument to learn to play.

Can't wait until I can make this sing - it's going to be awesome.

So I knew this thing would be hard to play, but I had no idea.

I really need some proper instruction. I am going to order a Pedal Steel 101 course from the Jeffran Pedal Steel College.

I wish I could actually attend his music school. I bet it would be amazing.

This morning I learned how to play a major scale without using the bar.

It takes 2 pedals and one knee lever just to play a "simple" major scale.

:frustrated:

One a series of strings you hit open, open, open, pedal B, open, pedal A, knee lever E, open

I got Jeffran DVD course on Friday. It's really good - I can already see an improvement on my technique.

i was at a show on friday, and they played a cover of Prince's Little Red Corvette using a slide guitar.

Now you know what you need to do.
