I was thinking the same thing. What a weird concept for a film.

I think a more important question is... why the fuck are there dragons in the future?

Err...it's not the future. It's the past.

But didn't he chase dragons into the past? At least that's what i thought the trailer was implying.
edit: i guess they could have come from another world?

Is he even human?
I got the impression he was from another planet with higher technology.

You're right.
from IMDB;
During the reign of the Vikings, Kainan (Caviezel), a man from a far-off world, crash lands on Earth, bringing with him an alien predator known as the Moorwen

Had very low expectations for this, but it turned out pretty good. The creature was really cool. Sweet little moments of gore. Overall, I approve.

I saw this last weekend. It has a few, very brief, moments that are cool, but overall it feels half-baked, and it was rather uninteresting.

Picked this up on bluray yesterday. Much better in HD. This movie really is a lot of fun. I dig it.

I know some people who worked on this, but I have no desire to see it.

I watched this last night. I’m with DD as it felt like a weak attempt at a cool synopsis. It starts off interesting but quickly mutates into mundane action and dialog. The ending is completely anti-climatic and lame and I didn’t think the dragon design was very good. No explanation on why it glows? C’mon.
