A new film from Johnnie To and Wai Kai Fai.

Trailer is here. (http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/maddetective/trailer/)

I still have to see Exiled. This looks pretty interesting. I'd like to see more of To's films, but they're so hard to get a hold of here.

I haven't liked any of To's movies that I've seen so far (Breaking News and Election).

See PTU and get back to me.

Should be seeing this next week, can't wait. I didn't care for Election, but Exiled and Sparrow (his most recent) kicked ass.

I've seen it, it's pretty good. Stylistically compact with a few stand out shots, don't go in expecting anything remarkable, it's just a good focused little film. What didn't you like about Election Boner?

I doubt Clipper Ship will like PTU but maybe (although I doubt it) Exiled or The Mission.

It's good to see To teamed with Lau Ching Wan again. Where a Good Man Goes is one of their best. Really great film.

I've had this one on my shelf for some time, just haven't gotten around to watching it.

Ditto. I'm trying to orchestrate a viewing of this with the sole friend I've been able to successfully convert to Toism. But schedules are busy.
